Bo flicked on the light switch, dumped the picnic basket on the kitchen table, and cast a desperate glance around the room in search of more camouflage.

The picnic basket had been good while it lasted but now he couldn’t hold it in front of him anymore, he was exposed. Having the hard-on to end all hard-ons made him feel like a randy teenager about to lose his virginity when Tahnee strolled into the kitchen, all five foot seven of perfection.

“So…here we are again.”

She propped against the table in a deliberate provocative pose, similar to how she’d conquered his lingering resistance at the Point. Her round breasts thrust forward, the hard nubs of her nipples prominent through the silky top that shimmered from basic green to cerulean when she moved, her lips pouted, and her shaded eyes glittered with seductive promise.

He was a goner.

“Would you like something to drink?”

She shook her head and tugged on the band holding her ponytail up, freeing her hair to fall in a glossy golden curtain. He made a sound, a gasp or a groan he wasn’t sure, and her lips curved in a sexy smirk.

“I thought you wanted dessert?”

She took a step forward and his gaze riveted to her leg, the way her hip and knee flexed in perfect synchronicity, how her thigh muscle tightened against the denim and how smooth the skin extending from her knee to ankle looked. He’d always been a leg man and Tahnee’s didn’t disappoint.

“I do,” he said, shifting behind a chair before she spotted exactly how much.

“Good. I’m partial to chocolate myself.”

He watched her stroll across the kitchen, flick on the kettle, fill a bowl with par-boiled water and place a chocolate topping bottle in it.

“I didn’t think I owned any chocolate topping?”

“You don’t. I asked the gourmet place to drop it around specifically when they brought the picnic.”

So she’d actually meant dessert rather than…dessert. Maybe it had been too long since he’d done this because he had no idea what was going on and he was tying himself up in knots trying to figure it out.

“Slight problem. I don’t have any ice cream.”

She eyeballed him, her gaze hotter than molten lava, her smile slow and sexy. “Who said anything about needing ice cream?”

Bo stared at her, blood pounding through his body as he wavered between shock and anticipation. Call him boring but he’d always been a straight-up kind of guy when it came to sex. Sure, he liked mixing up positions and he loved oral but he’d never tried eating food off each other.

Looked like he was about to expand his education.

She laughed at his expression, which he tried to school into cool but probably looked as dumbfounded as he felt. “Don’t worry. The chocolate is about as kinky as it gets.”

He didn’t want to know about her past. The thought of her with other guys made him oddly jealous when he had no right to be. But the minute she pulled out the topping bottle and said it wasn’t for ice cream, a sense of inadequacy crept over him.
